How To Get Hosted
Looking for a new host can be a daunting and time consuming task, but it can also be a nervous experience too if you are not sure of what is expected of you. That is why we have created this guide to try and make it easier for you and give you some tips that give you a greater chance of being accepted for free hosting with us. This brief guide is broken into sections so we can look at different areas of the application and hosting process.
What do I do?
- Do you want to be hosted, but are a little nervous?
You are looking for a host and you found us, but you’re not sure how to go about applying or if you are ‘good enough’ to be hosted here? Bubble is not an elite host, meaning we will not host you because your site is cool, we will host you if you have shown you understand how to create a website and you do have a genuine interest to be hosted with us.
All you have to do to give yourself a greater chance of being approved is make sure you read the rules, know how to make a website, have an example of your website and make sure to include reasons as to why you want to join us!
Another way to feel more comfortable with us is to join the Bubble forum, Pop to talk with other members and get an idea of the members, their websites and the community we share. It’s usually a lot easier to become part of a family if you know everyone first, and it doesn’t seem like such a huge leap!
Never been hosted before?
- Spend some time refining your knowledge of html and website building
If you have never been hosted before or never created a website it would be best that you spent the time to learn and perhaps tried another free host so you could broaden your knowledge and expand your skills. Once you had a good understanding of html you could apply again.
Show us your skills
- Here are some very good ways to show us you can create a website.
- Provide a link to a website you own.
- If you no longer have an active website online because your previous host closed down then you might consider to upload saved files to another free host like webs.com (or similar).
- We want to see that you can create a website not your graphic examples, although they may be pretty we are more interested in structure than design.

Before you apply sit down and consider why you want to be hosted with us. Is it because we offer a lot of features and a warm community or simply because we are a free host and you do not have the funds available for a paid host? We like to know why you want to join our hosting family and also details about your online past creating websites and what your plans are for the future.
